Turning Concrete into Possibility: The Dinaledi Crèche Road Park

As part of our ongoing Mahindra Care Fest, Mahindra South Africa partnered with the incredible team at MES (Mould Empower Serve) to bring a vibrant transformation to Hillbrow. On 27 February 2026, our team traded their office desks for paintbrushes and tools, descending on the Dinaledi Crèche to transform an ordinary concrete parking lot into an educational, colorful Mini Learning Road Park. This bright new space is designed to make road safety training an active, engaging part of daily play for the children.

Dinaledi Crèche plays a vital role in the Hillbrow community, providing early childhood development, essential nutrition, and a secure environment for 130 children and 11 dedicated teachers. By transforming this physical space, we aim to deliver a lasting, positive impact on these young lives. Because we believe road safety education is a critical foundation that starts young, Mahindra is incredibly proud to stand alongside real people, helping to write real stories of community empowerment and change.
